Psychological Assessment
Tailor-made Assessment Just For You

Purpose for Psychological Assessment
The goal of psychological assessment is to provide clarity for individuals who are experiencing barriers in life. This clarity often relates to finding an appropriate diagnosis for treatment.
Do you have concerns about behavioral patterns, personality traits, or emotional challenges? Have you tried various medications with minimal impact? Do you have difficulties that prevent you from achieving your personal goals? These are questions that an assessment would answer.
Quality Assessment
ADHD Assessment vs. Traditional Psychological Assessment
While a traditional psychological assessment examines an individual’s inner strengths and areas for growth, an ADHD-specific assessment aims at answering the question if someone qualifies for this specific diagnosis. Often folks presenting with ADHD have difficulties focusing, have challenges with organization, can be forgetful, or exhibit impulsive behaviors. The challenge with ADHD is that several of these symptoms overlap with other diagnoses. This is why an ADHD assessment is so valuable because it is intended to clarify if folks genuinely experience ADHD, if there are other emotional factors that contribute to an ADHD-like presentation, or if there is a combination of both elements happening simultaneously.
During our initial consultation, I will clarify how best to tailor your assessment to meet your needs.
